ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
There have been no reports of the 21-year-old suffering from injury or illness, which asks questions of Nuno Espirito Santo's decision to omit him entirely. Reyna was an unused substitute in Forest's 3-1 win at Sheffield United last weekend, with his previous appearance coming in the 2-0 home defeat to Manchester City.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
It was hoped that Reyna would get his career back on track at Forest but the loan move from Borussia Dortmund has not worked out at all. The young talent, already capped 26 times by the USMNT, has started just two matches in the Premier League, contributing an assist in the first against Wolves.

DID YOU KNOW?
Reyna became the youngest American at 17 years and 66 days to play in the Bundesliga when he debuted for Dortmund in January 2020, surpassing the previous record set by Christian Pulisic.

WHAT NEXT FOR REYNA?
After losing 3-2 to Chelsea, Forest were unable to confirm their place in the Premier League next season. They sit three points ahead of Luton heading into the last game of the season. Reyna will hope to be involved as Forest take on already relegated Burnley, while Luton will face Fulham.
